Angie has over 30 years’ experience within the specialist sphere of stoma care nursing. She is currently the Clinical Education Lead for Salts Healthcare and is responsible for facilitating high quality, evidence-based education to health care professionals keen to enhance their knowledge in stoma care and related areas globally through Salts Academy. From 2002, She worked as the Lead Nurse for Stoma/Colorectal at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. Here she developed one of the first Nurse-led clinics within the Trust and Nurse-led ileo-anal pouch clinic in the country to offer assessment, review and investigation for patients. In 2023 she co-edited a book – Stoma Care Specialist Nursing, A Guide for Clinical Practice and in 2024 was awarded title of Queen's Nurse in recognition for contributions to the specialist sphere of stoma care.
